Insurance Requirements

Insurance Requirements:

Insurance requirements are as follows:

               General Liability: $1,000,000.00

               Automotive Liability: $1,000,000.00

               Workers' Compensation: $500,000.00

Selected testing firm shall submit insurance policy prior to beginning any work with, Policy Endorsement (on separate policies) which list the New Bern Housing Authority as additional "named" insured for the project with Waiver of Subrogation and the Cancellation Statement "Coverages under the policies will not be cancelled, reduced or eliminated until at least thirty (30) days after receipt of written notice, by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the insured and the New Bern Housing Authority".  Provide a Waiver of Subrogation; Submit Form. The Firm shall have the proper insurance coverage before commencing work.

Licensure/Certifications

Company and individuals shall carry and present copies of all HUD/Federal/State licenses and certifications required to perform the scope of work outlined in this request.

Selection will be based on reasonable pricing, and the availability to begin and deliver work in a timely manner. Firms shall submit with their proposal, an anticipated start and completion schedule for each portion of work. The New Bern Housing Authority is expected to proceed with the work soon after the selection process is completed.

Floor plans of the dwelling buildings, Building 1 and maintenance/storage building are not available at this time. Building 2 floor plan and site plan has been provided as an attachment to this document.
